As a wedding planner, I get asked about this a lot. Brides and grooms are always looking for unique ideas for wedding favors. Some couples don't believe in having favors for their guests- which is completely fine. The couple has already paid for food and drinks, they are not required to provide a favor as well. A wedding favor is a 'nice to have', but it's not a necessity. If you do want to have a favor for your guests, make sure that you're spending your money on an item that your guest will actually use. Most couples forget to budget for favors. I recommend spending no more than $2 per favor. And you don't need to buy a favor for every guest, unless you are also using the favors as escort cards. A lot of guests will forget to take a favor home with them. I have been to dozens of weddings where I end up throwing away the favor the next morning. Here are some ideas on unique favors that your guests will like!
